People Asia’s Woman of Style and Substance- We know her for being an actress, commercial model, host, and a fashionista. We love everything about her. But more than her pretty face and glamorous fashion style, Anne Curtis also dazzles us with her witty remarks and humanitarian acts. She may not be a beauty pageant contestant but Anne is a woman of beauty, brains and substance.

This 2011, People Asia recognized Anne as a Woman of Style and Substance. Along with other remarkable women like Cristalle Belo Henares of Intelligent Skin Care, Anne graced People Asia’s awarding event last Thursday, September 22.

For Anne, being a woman of style and substance goes beyond beauty. “First and foremost, I think when you’re talking about style and substance it flatters you. It gives you so much confidence in yourself. So it goes beyond beauty. I guess that’s why it’s more flattering in a way. You really feel honored to be part of the chosen women,” said Anne.

After being dubbed as the Princess of All Media, Anne is now titled by People Asia as the National Sweetheart. “I’m so thankful to People Asia because it’s not everyday that you’re given an achievement, or a title, or an award, especially by people who are of substance like People Asia,” Anne expressed.

With a movie, album, and numerous endorsements in the way, Anne feels that she has been blessed so much this year. “I feel really blessed so I’m taking care of the blessings given to me. I’m enjoying it while I can because you know it doesn’t last forever,” shared Anne.

Whatever she’s achieving right now, Anne never fails to give gratitude to the Lord. This keeps her grounded and humble despite all the success she’s embracing. “[Being grounded] is just who I am. I think it’s a good thing that this is the way my parents brought me up,” expressed Anne.
