No Other Concert World Tour

Annebisyosa No Other Concert World Tour – Princess of All Media Anne Curtis will open 2012 with a big bang at the Big Dome! “This is the ultimate pasabog,” the reigning Box-Office Queen and Platinum Recording Artist said when she announced her much-talked about ANNEBISYOSA: No Other Concert World Tour.

Her concert which will take place at the SMART Araneta Coliseum on January 28, 2012, Saturday, have been a favorite topic in social networking sites for the past few weeks.

No one has actually thought that this videoke singer will conquer the Big Dome. It was Anne’s performance in Side A and Martin Nievera’s All For 1 concert in Araneta that triggered the whole idea.

“Hindi talaga expected. I think after siya nung Side A and Martin na All For 1 concert nila. Nakita ni Boss Vic dun na tinaggap ako ng tao sa production number ko dun.”

Her passion in singing was first given the spotlight in the noontime variety show, Showtime. “Sa Showtime, nag-bloom yung career ko as a singer. Kaya wala akong balak iwanan ang Showtime. They gave me the moment to shine as a singer. From the Showtime stage, now the Araneta stage.”

Now that she’s a certified Concert Empress, a title given to her by Martin Nievera, Anne is scheduled do voice, dance, and instrument lessons. “May trainings pa, voice lessons, dance lessons, instrument lessons… ang dami. So okay lang, wala akong reklamo. Go! Para perfect.”

At first she was hesitant to enroll in voice lessons since her singing is really just for fun. However, her manager, Ms. Veronique del Rosario-Corpus, advised that it would be best if she learns the proper breathing when singing.

“Sabi niya, you will have to just for the breathing. Siyempre iba-iba yung kanta-kanta na laro-laro sa kanta-kanta na may dancing. So may preparations na ganun like how to breathe properly, may aaralin din ako na isang instrument para may pasabog.”

Another “pasabog” is her special guests in the concert which includes her co-Viva artists, Vice Ganda and Sarah Geronimo. “Si Sarah and Vice will also be part of it. Of course, may boys akong kasama.”

Also, expect fabulous costume changes and production design in the ANNEBISYOSA No Other Concert. “Lagi ko ngang sinasabi kung ano yung pagkukulang ng voice ko, babawiin ko na lang sa fashion and production design.”

For the first time, stylists Liz Uy and Pam Quinones will collaborate. “I’ve got the best stylists. First time magko-collaborate, Liz Uy and Pam Quinones. Super excited.”

Anne Curtis, who acknowledges that she’s “not the best singer in the world,” promises an enjoyable show. “Pressure na pressure talaga [to do the Araneta concert]. Pero I’ll take this as a challenge. Basta sana ma-pass ko nga siya with flying colors. Fun lang naman talaga ‘to, hindi siya seryosong concert at all. It’s really just for fun.”

A blockbuster movie, platinum album, and a major solo concert, Anne feels humbled by all these blessings. “It’s really the latter part of this year na sumunod-sunod talaga lahat ng blessings. I’m so grateful with everything that’s happenning to me. To find out that to start the year, Viva gave me this concert, yun talaga yung peak of my career.”

Doing the ANNEBISYOSA No Other Concert is a dream come true for Anne. She just can’t ask for anything more. “After that, I think I’ve already done everything that an actress or an artist can do.”
